The Alcantara National Trade School together with the faculty, staff and students formally raised an awareness campaign in support of ASEAN Community 2015 and the Philippines’ Chairmanship of ASEAN 2017 through a program with the theme, “The ASEAN Community” held last August 1, 2016. The personnel wore there costumes and SB Jose Luis S. Morales talked about the theme as the invited guest speaker. The singing of the ASEAN Anthem was lead by FBS NCII students. The ASEAN is a community of opportunities under three pillars namely; political– Security, Economic and Socio-Cultural with the goal of improving the lives of its people reflected on the economic, cultural, and social development, improvement of living standards and regional peace.
